Sep Verboom‘s new lamp and stool inspired by a rope-making community in the Philippines, where he spent six months, living with the local people.

The Rope Hope Lamp is made entirely from discarded marine rope formed in the shape of a traditional Filipino sarok hat, which is usually made from bamboo strips and dried banana leaves.

I’m 23 years old and I am a jewelry designer. I am curious about what surround me, everything is an inspiration and a starting point for learning new things and to stimulate my imagination.
