Kinnarps generates trend report for workplaces and lifespaces that provides a look into the future of work might look like and how design plays a role in shaping the future. The trends for this year can be sub-divided into 5 major trends :

Designing for Diversity , which focusses on design that meets the needs of all

Office Biology which concentrates on the synchronization of design with our mind and bodies

Techture emphasizes analogue and digital architecture

Co-Creation in the mass collaboration era and collaborating without borders

Micro-Multinationals that describes mobile workplaces and creating workspaces anywhere anytime

I am an enthusiastic designer vagabonding around Milan to explore art, fashion and design. Being a part of the Creative Academy has provided me with the quintessential platform to widen my horizon. It has not only given me the fantastic opportunity to be in Milan this year but also a chance to discover the Salone Del Mobile and Expo 2015, which will not fail to surprise me. Milan for me is the perfect blend of conventional people, unconventional design and history.
