Hygienic Kitchen Utensils, What a Chef Really Needs
Myles Louis Day 17 April 2015

Designed to meet the product standards of professional chefs: utensils from the ‘Mod. No 1-5 Cooking Set’ are shaped out of single pieces of stainless steel. Places where leftover food can gather, or weak joints in the utensil have been avoided- making the product more resilient and durable. Design by Shay Assaf and Damian Schneider from the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland, see the display at Ventura Lambrate this week.

I am South African and I am 26 years old. Initially trained in the fine arts, a change in study choice led me to complete an honors degree in industrial design in 2013. Here I was educated about the product development process with projects that included conceptualizing and engineering products fit for manufacture. Product design, design drawing, manufacturing technology, engineering, business, and industrial design history were my majors in this course.
