Pluma Cubic
Eunice Park 17 April 2015

Pluma Cubic, lamps designed by Berlin architect Heike Buchfelder, was a very unique & magnificent booth at Salone del Mobile. The use of real feathers for the lamps, attached to a fabric framework, created a soft & beautiful appearance, with the light perfectly diffused. The pieces of Pluma Cubic have a organic yet irresistable aesthetic, drawing people closer to have a look at the beautiful details of the lamp. Hi! I’m a watch designer & avid Hello Kitty fan. Born & raised in the USA, this is the first time living abroad for an extended period of time. I’m excited that Creative Academy has given me the opportunity to experience a new culture & city lifestyle, while furthering my education in the luxury design field. Being that the Fuorisalone & Salone Del Mobile are relatively unfamiliar events for me, I’m thrilled to be able to take part in the Milan Design Week and eager to fill my curiosity regarding all of the events to come.
