German designer Luis & Leon Kucharski show poetic 3 dimensional diagram pictures in Ventura Lambrate.
“We are inspired by the fact that paper is fading in the sunlight, we built a laboratory to investigate this day-to-day process.”
The diagram picture is transferred onto normal origami paper by light. They researched the process of fading paper color, which takes each piece 3 hours. Then they used the resulting images on the paper to make aluminium templates. Depending on the shadows and highlights of the subject in the image, they use different templates and different time lengths for each different part.
